Singing Valentines are fun. Crystal works here in Calgary for a foundation that works with adolescent and adult autism. The sender of the Valentine was Larry, her boyfriend, from the Vancouver.
The quartet is the newly registered "Blend The Rules".
Matt could not make it today so Bob sang lead and Doug filled in on bari. Murray is tenor and Craig is bass.

Western Hospitality Singers were on hand at Confederation Park in Calgary on March 29th to entertain and to cheer on an enthusiastic crowd of walkers and joggers for the 2015 Trek for Tourette.
Trek for Tourette is a 5km walk held annually on the last Sunday of March in communities across Canada in support of the Tourette Syndrome cause. It is Canada's only national fundraiser for Tourette Syndrome.
Money raised from the Calgary Trek is invested in research and treatments that benefit Tourette patients in southern Alberta.
On March 16th, Christina of the 72nd Calgary Pathfinders and Sophia of the 79th Calgary Girl Guides paid a visit to the Western Hospitality Singers in Calgary to promote fundraising for their respective groups.
Tying this visit into the semi-annual Cookie Campaign to help support community activities and leadership development for young girls in the Girl Guide program, Christina and Sophia delivered orders of cookies and even sold more to happy barbershoppers.
For their part, the men of Western Hospitality Singers were very happy to support this fundraiser as part of their commitment to community outreach. The smiles on their faces when they received their orders show that the guys were equally happy to see the cookies!
A great evening of coaching with Erin Howden polishing performance. Watch the videos of our work in progress
March 7th was a great day! It started at 10 am with a 90 minute session hosted by viaVoice and included Western Hospitality Singes, babershoppers from other chapters and singers from Lord Beaverbrook High School.
There where two performances, matinee and evening, followed by an Afterglow.
Much thanks to all the chapter quartets, viaVoice and the kids from Lord Beaverbrook
Another video has been posted to our media section. It's our performance at the 2014 Evergreen District Chorus Competition in Surrey BC.

On Monday December 29th Western Hospitality Singers had the opportunity to sing for Abe Penner's family and friends. We met Abe and Esther while singing at a hospice a couple of weeks go and we were pleased to be asked to sing at his service.
We got a great note of thanks from his daughter:
Western Hospitality Singers was invited to sing at number of hospices over the past couple of weeks. These are rewarding in so many ways and we're glad to have this opportunity.
As the rooms are small the whole chorus couldn't participate so a Very Large Quartet (13 guys) took part.
