Sound  - Sing with resonance, tallness, forward focus

Synchronization – Out of synch IS out of tune

Tuning – Tune every note to the TONAL CENTRE
                -2^nd, 3^rd, 6^th, 7^th major scale degrees should all be high

Vowels – Stay on targets through chord moves and on diphthongs

Pillar Chords – Should be the most solid and most in tune

Soft Palate – Raising the soft palate is a mental image. Lift the notes by thinking into the highest part of the palate. Trying to lift the soft
palate will create tension

Focus – Forward placement equals BRIGHTNESS

Space – "Raising the soft palate" equals RESONANCE

Delivery of Word Sounds – Requires FRONT FOCUS; CONSISTENT PLACEMENT; ARTICULATION; SMALL MOUTH SHAPE
