Vocal Vortex At Run For The Cure

This is Vocal Vortex's second year singing on the route for Run For The Cure. Our objective is to sing and cheer on the thousands of runners, walkers and fund raisers who participate in the event in Calgary. It's part of a national program sponsored and organized by CIBC to raise funds to combat breast cancer.

It was a little cool out there today. +1 degree Celsius, or for those of you who are metric-impaired, about 34 degrees Fahrenheit.

Thanks to my quartet brothers Darcy Allen, Dave Kampel and Murray Young for a great outing. We were inspired and touched by the many runners and walkers who waved to us, listened to us singing, sang along, applauded us, snapped our photos and took some video of us. We were out there for a solid hour and we're already looking forward to our third year at the Run For The Cure.
